En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The orphanage was primarily designed to afford care and protection to the baby elephants found in the jungle without their parents.
Next, you visit Golden Temple at Dambulla, It is the home to the World’s most acclaimed cave complex of magnificent Buddha Images and Rock Paintings. Massive rocks from the surrounding plains of Dambulla of 600 feet high and over 2000 feet in length

Next lunch at a nice restaurant you proceed to Polonnaruwa- One of the ancient kingdoms of the Island,
this was the 02nd capital of the north central province for 3rd century, Polonnaruwa reached its zenith

as a crowning achievement.

After breakfast you proceed to Anuradhapura- This was the first ancient kingdom established in Sri Lanka. A corner of the ‘cultural triangle’ and is widely considered the birthplace of Buddhism in the country. Anuradhapura is a truly remarkable city complete with the best of wildlife, an irrigational network, and world acclaimed historic monuments. Farming is the main source of living here and it is the home to modest farming in the community.
In the evening you visit Mihintale. Mihintale is an important tourist destination in Sri Lanka, especially for pilgrim travelers. Mihintale mountain peak located 13 km away from Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka, is believed to be the meeting point between the Buddhist monk “Mahinda” who introduced Buddhism to Sri Lanka, and king Devanampiyatissa.

After breakfast at the hotel, you proceed to Trincomalee. En route visit beautiful lakes with lotus blooms & endemic birds. Kanniya Hot water springs – There are seven wells in a square shape. Wells are only 3–4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom. The temperatures are considerably high but vary from
one spring to another. Next, you visit “Koneswaram Hindu Temple” The temple lies on a high rocky promontory surrounded on three sides by the sea. It bears a history of over three millennia with its records indicating its roots in 1580 BC. This, the still beautiful, historical monument is what remains of what once was a sprawling temple city equal to the ancient city of Madurai, India.
